Small plane makes emergency landing on Hwy 14 in Vancouver

VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) – A small plane made an emergency landing on Highway 14 in southeast Vancouver on Saturday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The landing happened around noon on the eastbound lanes near milepost 2, according to WSDOT. The highway was closed for about two hours.

Crews with the Vancouver Fire Department were sent to the scene around 12:30 p.m. where they found the Cessna parked in the grass on the shoulder of the road.
