2 people arrested in connection to killing of Parkland teen who was shot during robbery

PARKLAND, Wash. — Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a 17-year-old Parkland boy who was shot and killed after being robbed of a necklace, authorities said Monday.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said a 26-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were taken into custody Sunday in connection with the May 24 killing of Braylon Diaz.
