Police union president defends officers’ response to Bite of Seattle mass shooting

SEATTLE — As Seattle City Hall faces scrutiny over the city’s response to the mass shooting at the Bite of Seattle, the head of the Seattle Police Officers Guild is praising officers for their quick actions to help victims and detain a suspect.

Seattle Police Officers Guild (SPOG) President Kent Loux was working in uniform at Seattle Center when the shooting occurred.
